- Open cell, chemically blown, sponge rubber is a unique product that lends itself to
- many industrial, military and consumer applications.
- CUSHIONING
- The great resiliency of our suppliers' sponge places it in the forefront of all cushioning materials. Its ability to compress and recover provides spring-like support through any full contact area. Thoroughly tested and accepted for its long life and cushioning properties.
-
- SEALING
- Soft and resilient, sponge provides excellent low-pressure sealing against air, gases, and fumes. Combined with its low closing effort and weather resistance, open cell sponge offers an effective seal and filler where irregular gap and surface conditions exist.
-
- VIBRATION DAMPENING
- The open cell construction of our suppliers' sponge makes it particularly suitable for sound and vibration dampening. Various densities offer a wide range of compression and load capacities.
-
- STANDARD PUT-UPS
- Widths 36" to 54".
- Special roll lengths are also available upon request, weight permitting.
- Sheeting of sponge is available at no additional charge.
- Thicknesses range from 1/16" to 1".
-
- SPECIAL COLORS
- Sponge rubber can be manufactured in the following colors: Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Gray, White, and Orange. Special custom colors can be made to meet your specifications. Call for details (207) 310-1351.
